I'm in my second year of an MA in creative writing for Children and Young Adults at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I'm currently working on a MG fantasy adventure novel called The Broken Isle, about two constantly-arguing cousins who race pirates to find magical treasure on an island inhabited by monsters.

At the beginning of 2020, my YA gender reversed retelling of Snow White was long-listed for the Write Mentor Children's Novel Award, and was later picked up for the summer mentoring programme, where I was mentored by the amazing Marisa Noelle.
